For many, receiving a new pair of pajamas is a holiday tradition, and thanks to numerous individuals, every child in foster care from San Benito County will be receiving pajamas as well!
The Diane Diaz Hopkins Insurance team hosted a Pajama Drive to collect pajamas for the CASA Holiday Project, which serves children in foster care ages 0 —21 from San Benito County. Charles River Labs employees also contributed to the effort by providing pajamas specifically for teens and older youth.
“We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support,” said CASA Executive Director Esther Curtice. “Our community has been very generous in making the holidays brighter for very deserving children.”
If you are interested in supporting children in foster care from our community, CASA is participating in the 12 Days of Giving campaign, which matches monetary donations now through Dec. 12 with funds supporting children’s needs throughout the year.
