Governor Newsom announces statewide expansion of CA Notify, a smart phone tool designed to slow the spread of COVID-19— New digital tool launched on Dec. 10, allows Apple and Google smart phone users to receive COVID-19 exposure alerts letting them know when they’ve come into contact with someone who has tested positive.
The FDA has not yet approved the Pfizer vaccine. Approval is expected in the next 24 hours.
Administration of the vaccine could begin as early as Dec. 14. Pfizer has already delivered equipment such as syringes and swabs to several sites in the nation, including California. The vaccine will be given in two doses and the first dose will be shipped through the country first.

Tips for avoiding COVID-19
