This year’s Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, at the San Juan Bautista State Historic Park, 19 Franklin Street. The event is free, inclusive, family-friendly, and open to everyone. You can expect over 20+ booths offering environmental programs, resources, and fun, interactive activities for all ages. Together, we’re encouraging residents of San Benito County to take good care of the world around us and to develop more sustainable, eco-conscious ways of living. Earth Day Celebration will be an attractive, educational event for anyone looking to participate in the following activities:

  • 30+ booths offering environmental programs, resources, and fun, interactive activities for all ages
  • Vermicomposting by Master Gardener Otis Johnson all event long!
  • Land Acknowledgement and ceremony by Grupo Nauhcampa Danza Azteca Concheros at 11 am.
  • Special performance by Ha ‘ a Hula / Te Reva O Te Manu at 12:00 pm.
  • Recology Art Poster Contest gallery viewing. Winners are to be announced at 1:00 pm.
  • Electric vehicle test driving and car show. A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Food scrap pails for easy collection of your food scraps.
  • Used motor oil recycling DIY kits and resources to safely dispose of your motor oil in San Benito County. Motor oil and motor oil filters will not be accepted at this event

Departing from 4th & San Benito (Hollister) to 2nd & Polk (San Juan Bautista)

Departing from 2nd & Polk (San Juan Bautista) to 4th & San Bentio (Hollister)
