Election 2018: Candidate list and ballot measures for November 6

Some races not on ballot due to lack of necessary number of candidates.

Summer is winding down, and the November 6, 2018 General Election will be here before we know it.

After a nomination period extension earlier this week, the San Benito County Registrar of Voters released the list of candidates who will appear on the November ballot. More information on qualified candidates can be found on the elections office website.

Additionally, we have included a list of candidates who are qualified for the upcoming election, but won’t appear on the ballot. According to the elections office, this is because those races lack the necessary number of candidates. Some races don’t have any candidates at all! For more information on the races that won’t appear on the ballot, follow this link.

BenitoLink and San Benito County Farm Bureau will host election forums on October 11 and October 18, this time at the Veteran's Memorial Hall in Hollister.
