The San Benito County Office of Emergency Services will be hosting an Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Kmart parking lot, located at 491 Tres Pinos Rd. in Hollister.
The event is intended to inform people about how to properly prepare for and respond to disasters and other emergencies. Representatives from multiple agencies will be available to provide information and answer any questions. Among other things, people will have the opportunity to learn about the types of disasters that are possible in San Benito County, learn about disaster preparedness for themselves and their families, and learn about the San Benito County CERT team.
