Sowing Seeds, Nurturing Dreams

Spend an evening enjoying the beautiful Gavilan College Gilroy campus with friends, community members, and alumni, and enjoying superb local food and wines, all for a great cause. Join the Gavilan College Educational Foundation at "Sowing Seeds, Nurturing Dreams"  and help provide scholarships and emergency assistance to students in need. 
The event will be held at the Gavilan College Student Center on Friday, April 25, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. It will feature some of the best of local food and wine, an enticing silent auction, select unique items in a live auction, and a showcase of student talent in music, theater, and art. 
Gilroy Chamber of Commerce director Mark Turner will be the emcee, and Gavilan College Facilities Director (and Gilroy High School football announcer) Jeff Gopp, will serve as auctioneer. 
Food and wine will be provided by restuarants and wineries from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Hollister, and San Juan Bautista, including Cellar Door Catering, Ladera Grill, Mama Mia's Ristorante, Ninja Sushi, Patty's Perfect Pantry, Dona Esther, Ella's Italian Restaurant, My Pizzam Anaerobe Systems, Chiala Farms, House of Siam, Pacific Dining, Martin Ranch Winery, Guglielmo Winery, Fortino Winery, Sunlit Oaks, Central Coast Winery, Aimee June Winery. Sponsors include Heritage Bank, Gavilan College Faculty Association, Pinnacle Bank, Gilroy Rotary, Anritsu, and the Edward "Boss" Prado Foundation.
Auction items include works of art, handmade jewelry, and travel opportunities (include a week in Cabo San Lucas!)

Admission is $50 per ticket, and will be limited to guests 21 and over.
