On Aug. 26, at approximately 9:56 a.m. CHP was notified of a two vehicle crash on State Route-25, south of Bolsa Road. Party #1, Amarjit Singh Pajwa (70), was driving a 2017 Freighliner Cascadiaon SR-25 northbound, south of Bolsa Road, at approximately 60 mph. Party #2, John Doe (68), was driving Vehicle a 2022 Mack Anthemon SR-25 southbound, south of Bolsa Road, at approximately 40 mph. For unknown reasons Pajwa crossed over the double solid yellow lines into the southbound lanes into the direct path of the Mack and crashed head-on. Both vehicles came to rest on the west shoulder with their trailers blocking the southbound lane. As a result of the crash, Doe succumbed to his injuries and Pajwa was ejected onto the west shoulder of State Route-25, resulting in major injuries. No alcohol and/or drugs are a factor in the cause of this collision.
