On Sunday, May 28, at about 6:45 p.m., Hollister Police officers responded to a report of a shooting, where officers found an adult male victim non-responsive at the intersection of Prune and Park streets.
According to a press release, CPR was initiated and the victim was transported by ambulance to Hazel Hawkins Hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was later declared deceased at the hospital.
"This is an on-going, active investigation," the Sunday press release said. "Please call 831-636-4331 if you have information on this incident."
Those that wish to remain anonymous are encouraged to call 1-800-782-7463. A tip could lead to a reward of up to $1,000.
