With our days warming up and spring just around the corner, Hollister Downtown Association (HDA) is kicking off Food Truck Tuesdays starting Mar. 3. Trucks will be dispersed in downtown Hollister on San Benito Street between 6th and 7th streets. The event is held every Tuesday from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. until April 7.

Omar Rosa, HDA executive director is excited about the season ahead for Food Truck Tuesdays. “This year we will have all your Farmers’ Market favorites returning,” Rosa said. “We have Hapa Bros, lvan’s Baked Potatoes & Corn, Steakstop, El Guapo, Antojitos Oaxaquenos Don Trini, Tacos Las Cascada, Mattia Pizza, Los Tamales Food and JJ’s Homemade Burgers.” There will also be desert specialists, Place of Crepes, Wafflz & Pearlz, and Lily’s Fresh Fruit.

The HDA will bring along new trucks as the season goes along. For example, Kettle & Smoke Catering, which Rosa said offers award winning chili, soups and hot drinks such as hot chocolate and teas.

“Kettel and Smoke Catering will be coming on the following week, on Mar. 10,” Rose said.

Hollister Downtown Association, organizes this event, held every year on San Benito Street.
