Free fare to the County Fair

A number of free shuttle trips will be offered from Thursday through Sunday from Hollister to Bolado Park and back

The San Benito County Local Transportation Authority has announced that people can get to and from the San Benito County Fair for free on County Express buses from Thursday through Sunday.

The County Express shuttle to the fair will start at the Veteran's Memorial Park bus stop and offer seven departure times on Thursday and Friday, 10 departures on Saturday and another seven on Sunday. The final shuttle leaves the County Fair site at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. 

Departures are also scheduled at the corner of Fourth and San Benito streets, the San Benito Health Foundation on Fourth Street and Kmart.

San Benito County Express provides convenient and affordable transportation service to the communities of Hollister, San Juan Bautista, and Gilroy.

Council of San Benito County Governments - COG

The Council of Governments was formed in 1973 by the Cities of Hollister and San Juan Bautista and the County of San Benito for the purpose of forming consensus on regional transportation issues facing San Benito County. The Council continues this coordination today by providing a public forum for discussion at its monthly meetings.
