Free rodeo for children and adults with special needs

CHP-sponsored event will feature music, food, horseback rides, a petting zoo and displays of public safety vehicles

High school District 4 rodeo members will be working rodeo skills stations during the annual Day Out On The Ranch event designed for those with special needs.

There will be live bluegrass music, a petting zoo, horseback rides, barbecue food plates, and police, fire, EMS and search and rescue vehicle displays as well.

The event, on Saturday, May 20 from noon to 3 p.m., is put on by the Hollister-Gilroy California Highway Patrol's Squad Club, a nonprofit called, "The El Camino Club." It will be held at Thorson's Arena in San Martin.
