Lovers of good wine and local foods will enjoy California’s oldest wine tasting event, on the beautiful lawn of the Paicines Ranch in the small town of Paicines. Featuring over 25 regional wineries and 25 local restaurants, this outdoor event highlights the numerous vistas and beauty of the area.
Join us Saturday, Sept. 9, for the 61st Annual Wine and Food Tasting from 4 to 7 p.m.
Over the decades, this event has grown from one winery and homemade hors d'oeuvres to the largest cultural event of its kind in the county. All proceeds benefit Kinship Center, A Member of Seneca Family of Agencies’ foster and adoption services in San Benito County.
Since 1984, Kinship Center has helped build and strengthen families for children of all ages. Their core belief is that every child needs a safe, loving, and permanent family in order to grow and thrive. All proceeds from the wine tasting go towards helping children in San Benito County.
Kinship Center will open a new office in San Benito County before the end of 2017. The office will be located in Hollister and will open once final renovations have been completed.
Kinship Center currently provides Resource Family Assessment training weekly in San Benito County, as well as recruitment of local families who are interested in becoming resource parents, currently known as foster parents.
