On May 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., high school seniors and their families, and other prospective college students, are invited to the Gavilan College Gilroy campus for the inaugural Super Saturday event, during which future Gavilan students will be able to accomplish many of the steps for new students — including enrolling in selected classes — all on one day.
There will also be campus tours and an opportunity to learn about the many activities and support services for Gavilan  students.
“We’re excited to have you join us on Super Saturday: complete your enrollment steps, get connected and have lunch with us,” said Kathleen Moberg, Gavilan’s vice president of student services.
Prospective students who are new to college must complete five essential steps:
- STEP 1) Apply Online – If you do this prior to May 6, you can complete steps 2 and 3 PLUS registration on Super Saturday. http://www.gavilan.edu/admit/apply.php
- STEP 2) Financial Aid – Bring 2015 Federal Tax Forms, W-2’s, and SSNs to get help on May 6
- STEP 3) Assessment – Call to set up an appointment: 408-846-4992
- STEP 4) Kick Start Orientation – Call to set up an appointment: 408-848-4723
- STEP 5) Counseling – Call 408-848-4723 or sign up online at http://www.gavilan.edu/counseling.index.php
- Students who complete all of these steps will be able to register for selected summer and fall classes on Super Saturday.

Gavilan College is a California Community College offering a wide variety of academic programs leading to university transfer and career credentials.
