Continued impacts from flooding, including various road closures, have prompted Gavilan College officials to announce the cancelation of all classes at all campuses Wednesday.
The college posted the announcement on social media and made an automated call to students just before 7 a.m.
Though a few dry days are expected and Highway 101 northbound is open again in both directions through Morgan Hill after a closure on Tuesday, a tree fell on power lines and caused a power outage on the Gilroy campus, so officials opted to cancel classes at all educational centers that Gavilan operates, including Hollister, Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Martin.
