A ceremonial ribbon-cutting celebrated the expansion of the Grillin & Chillin Alehouse on McCray Street in Hollister on Tuesday, June 20. The facility added 2,800 square feet to accommodate additional seating, drinking space and brewing capacity.
The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau hosted the event at Grillin & Chillin, which has been open in the Clocktower Plaza for the past five years. Relax! Grillin & Chillin has operated as a bar and restaurant on San Juan Road near Highway 156 and Union Road for the past nine years.
Chuck Frowein, owner of Grillin & Chillin Alehouse, cut the ribbon to open his newly-expanded restaurant, with city officials, members of the Chamber and customers on hand.
