The Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) of San Benito County announced the completion of what it calls its "new, easy-to-use website."
The site focuses on the primary services provided by HHSA to the community and is designed to "help people learn about a wide range of services including Public Assistance, Housing Assistance, Public Health, Child and Adult Protective Services, Community Services and Workforce Development, Environmental Health and Vital Records," according to a press release.
From the release:
The services are graphically displayed on the home page in order to make it easy to use and was set up to get important information to people within three clicks. The agency is encouraging the public to use this new easy-to-use website to get information and find answers to frequently-asked questions. We particularly encourage people to use the self-service applications for public assistance programs and to get contact information for all offices and partner agencies. Against a backdrop of spectacular photos representative of San Benito County and through a combination of icons, text and pictures, the online material is presented in a dynamic easy to use format that is engaging and easily navigated.
In addition, the website is now designed to be used on other devices like cell phones and tablets. The County hired web design company Full Steam Marketing of Salinas, California to lead this project and the work was performed by both HHSA and Full Steam staff. Full Steam Marketing, a company that’s been around for over 30 years, has a portfolio of comprehensive services, including marketing strategy and brand creation, state-of-the-art website and multimedia development, logo, collateral and packaging design and across-the-board merchandising services.
