Dubbed the “Hidden Fire” for its location off Hidden Valley Road and Cienega Road southwest of Hollister, the rural blaze on Friday, June 3Â was limited to 30 acres and was 100 percent contained by that evening, according to CalFire.
KSBW-TV reported that California State Parks officials reported that the fire was accidentally ignited by fuel dripping onto the engine of a dirt bike on the Back Tank Trail.
No structures were threatened.
