The Hollister Art League announces its Fall Art Show at the San Benito County Arts Council’s ARTspace at 240 Fifth St. in downtown Hollister from Sept. 19 to Nov. 6.
The show features HAL artists: Helene C’deBaca, Pam Holmquist, Robb Lee, Adrien Lee, Suzanne Kerns, Ruth Knauff, Sylvia Nichols, Alia Outrey, John Robrock, Louise Roy, Maureen Serafini, Gloria Sipes, and Pat Zuniga. The exhibition is sponsored by the San Benito County Arts Council with support from the California Arts Council.
Hollister Art League is a club of local artists who paint, draw, and take photos to promote the visual arts in San Benito County. Through membership, art sales, private and public donations, and notecard sales, the club provides scholarships to qualifying San Benito County high school students who want to major in art at college or university.
The public is invited to a “Meet the Artists Reception” from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 at ARTspace, and are also welcomed to view the exhibition during regular opening hours.
