The City of Hollister Recreation Department has been serving San Benito County for 40 years and to celebrate that milestone will host a party on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the Veterans Memorial Building downtown.
Established in 1977, the City of Hollister Recreation Department has been providing recreational activities to promote health and well-being in the community. Its focus is to enhance quality of life through recreational opportunities for children, adults and families.
The 40th anniversary party will feature performances from local dance groups and performers. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at one of the many food trucks at the event.
