Hollister resident, Murray R. Millson, Ph.D, program director of the MBA Program and professor of Marketing at California State University, Monterey Bay, is leaving for Dubrovnic, Croatia this week to continue his passion for lecturing to the international community.

With a love of adventure, learning and the opportunity to present his research, throughout the world, Dr. Millson, since 2005, has lectured in Warsaw, Athens,  Bremen, Germany, Vienna,  Manchester, England, Tours, Pisa, and Bangkok. Most recently he lectured in New Zealand, Dwarka, India and Beijing, China.

Dr. Millson has taught marketing and management courses at California State University, Monterey Bay, Syracuse University, University of Santa Clara, San José State University, and Golden Gate University. International teaching appointments include the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, Helsinki, Finland, Bond University (Gold Coast, Australia), and The University of Western Australia (Perth, Australia).

Dr. Millson earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and a master of science degree in industrial management from Clarkson University (New York State). He earned his MBA and Ph.D. degrees in management and marketing from Syracuse University. His corporate experience spans key engineering and management positions, over his 20-year career with General Electric. He is a registered professional engineer in quality engineering, in the state of California.

His research has been published in: the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Research-Technology Management, the Journal of Social Behavior and Personality, International Journal of Healthcare Technology and ManagementIEEE Engineering Management Conference ProceedingsIndustrial Marketing ManagementTechnovation, and the International Journal of Innovation Management.

In Hollister, he has co-authored with his wife, Joan (Sattler), grant proposals for the healthcare industry, and social service and civic organizations, and, with Joan,  created marketing materials, historical narratives, event displays and photography for the Women’s Club of Hollister, the Friends of the San Benito County Free Library, the library, itself, County of San Benito, the Red Cross, Jovenes de Antaǹo Senior Services and Veterans’ Organizations.
