The unbeaten Hollister Tremors U16 team will face Los Gatos in the league championship game on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. at Veterans' Memorial Park in Hollister.
Coach Greg Dolan urges the community to come watch the locals take on the powerful team from the north.
"Please come out and support your local U16 travel soccer team," he said. "It's winner-take-all against the powerhouse of Los Gatos. All our team needs is a draw to secure the championship. Our boys are unbeaten all year, truly having an amazing season. The icing on the cake will be if they beat Los Gatos. Please come out and support them, as I know it will truly motivate them, and I know they will be very appreciative of your support."
The teams will play at the soccer fields at Vets' Park on Memorial Drive in Hollister.
"So bottom line, if you have nothing to do Sunday afternoon, grab your lawn chairs and your kids, and head over to Vets," Dolan said. "his will be a very intense game played by two very skilled and motivated teams."
