Women's Club of Hollister on May 27 will be packing more than 100 backpacks to distribute through local agencies to children in need. The backpacks contain personal care items, clothing, school supplies, a blanket, a stuffed animal, etc. to sustain children through the first few days of transition.

Infants through teens use the backpacks, which cost $40. Monetary donations are being accepted and those interested are asked to contact Shanna by email at  [email protected] This is the the fifth year that the club has sponsored the program originally handled by Leadership San Benito County.
