HPD seeks man wanted for grand theft

Police say male entered the store twice in the same day and took merchandise each time.

Hollister officers were dispatched to Target, located at 1790 Airline Hwy in Hollister, on June 8 after store security reported several items had been taken from the store. Target’s security reported a male had taken several expensive items, according to a recent press release.

The person of interest entered the store twice in the same day and took merchandise each time, not making any attempt to pay for the items in question, reported Target security.

The responding officer obtained store video footage and was able to extract still photos of the person of interest.

The Hollister Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying the person of interest in this case.  Police described him as an adult male with short black hair, in his 20s, about 5’6” tall weighing about 170 pounds.
