Construction continues on the Highway 156 Corridor Improvement Project with a traffic shift to a four-lane configuration.
Caltrans will be shifting traffic to the new eastbound and westbound Highway 156 between The Alameda and Fourth Street on Thursday, June 12 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Traffic signals at Fourth Street, Union Road and The Alameda will be set to blinking red and traffic will be directed by flaggers while final striping is installed. All four lanes will be open to traffic by the end of the day.
Travelers can expect delays of up to 40 minutes.
Caltrans asks that motorists plan in advance before traveling and are advised to plan accordingly or consider alternate routes.
