In my effort to better educate myself regarding hydraulic fracturing in California and specifically San Benito County, I am researching web sites hosted by various state departments that report on geology, water resources and energy production. I found a very interesting video presentation available online hosted by Ted Johnson, Chief Hydrologist from the Water Replenishment District of Southern California. The presentation interested me especially because of my professional background as a water utility supervisor. The data presented is the result of a government agency employee reporting on the relationship between energy industry oil and gas wells and potable water wells in Southern California.
