It’s All Fun and Games for Middle School Band

The Rancho-Maze Middle School Band is holding a fundraiser designed to be a true “game changer.”

On Saturday, Oct. 25,  ZeeBee Toy Store, located next to the former Staples, will give the band 10 percent of all sales taking place that day. You do not not have to be a member of the band or family member to participate. The fundraiser is open to all community members and applies to any item purchased in the store. 

This is the second year the band has worked with the toy store to bring in funds that will be used for uniforms, travel, and other expenses. 

On the same day, from 4-8 p.m., the store will hold its weekly game night, featuring different board games. This is open to the public as well. Band members will be on hand for a meet-and-greet. 

Other fundraising events for the band are also planned for later this year, including their annual holiday boutique on Nov. 1 at Rancho San Justo Middle School; a book fair at Barnes and Noble in Gilroy, and a prize and basket raffle during their holiday concert, featuring gifts from local businesses such as Marich Confectionery.
