This week is National Chamber of Commerce Week. It’s celebrated around the United States by small and large chambers alike and your local San Benito County Chamber will join in the recognition and fun.

“We hope you see your Chamber – when you see new businesses coming to town – we encourage business growth. We hope you think of your Chamber when you attend events like educational seminars, Business After Hours and Lunch with Leaders. Education is important and helps keep our business community vibrant and up-to-date with the latest information. Our Chamber members work hard for this community, and we support them and you,” said Juli Vieira, CEO of the Chamber.

Belonging to the chamber extends to more than just what the chamber can do for your business. Belonging means you need to participate as well. It’s a two-way street, and we want you to work with us so we can better serve you.

Becoming a member also involves what the chamber can do for the entire community, and what that can then mean for your business. If your community is stagnant, and not growing, then your business will stop growing too. It’s important that people outside of our community realize that San Benito County is the place to live, work and play. We want people to build their businesses here, move their families here and to come here for enjoyment. We also want people INSIDE the community to realize that San Benito County is the place for business, enjoyment and a fantastic way of life.

We share the news of our community and our members in many ways. We write about it online in blogs, social media,  articles in newspapers and national magazines, on the television, at speaking engagements, and during city and county meetings, to name a few. Our active Chamber members talk about it when they visit other communities, when they do business out of town and when they go on vacation. That’s what your Chamber and its members do for you.

We believe in San Benito County and its businesses. It’s our mission to provide economic development and growth for businesses contact us at www.sanbenitocountychamber.com or 831-637-5315, become part of this special group of businesses and individuals that believes in our community.  For those business that become a new member during this week, we will have a special gift for you, so join us and become part of the movers and shakers.
