In this issue of their monthly program, David Huboi and Shawn Novack of the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau’s Green Committee interview attorney Aaron Johnson of L&G Attorneys LLP about cannibis.

Johnson, who suffered a broken neck in a sports accident, began to use medical marijuana after studying its benefits. He now advises the cannabis industry on legal matters. Johnson explains the chemical make-up of the plant and how it can be used for pain relief. According to Johnson, the pain relief characteristics of pot can be separated from the “euphoria” or high that is associated with pot. He describes products that are now available and can be taken under the tongue or in pill form as well as the “traditional” method of smoking for medicinal purposes.
