At a Special Study Session of the San Juan Planning Commission, Attorney Dan DeVries, representing Frank Leal, announced to the Planning Commission, that Mr. Leal has contracted to purchase the San Juan Inn, with plans to enhance the property. 

 

The Commission's Study Session was considering a project on the property between the San Juan Inn and Hwy 156 which proposes acommercial development on that site including an Arco fuel station, a convenience store and fast food restaurant. The Proposed project would share a driveway with the Inn.  It had been noted by the applicant that they thought that the presence of their project would improve the visibility and occupancy of the Inn.
