Library asks for support on #GivingTuesday

Friends Participate in #GivingTuesday

Since its debut in 2012, #GivingTuesday (think #SmallBusinessSaturday, #CyberMonday) has inspired generosity around the world, resulting in more donations, volunteer hours and activities that bring about real change in communities. 

Anyone can join this global day of giving by supporting the Friends of the San Benito County Free Library (SBCFL) and its continued work to promote the health and welfare of our community’s library. Gifts will help fund programs, build the library collection and connect the community with library services.

More than 90 percent of individual donations go to the library.

San Benito County Library has produced an informational video to explain what is being done with community donations. More information is available about the library on the Friends of the Library website: www.sbcfriends.org and follow updates on Facebook. 

The Many Ways to Donate

1. You can give directly to the Friends via their website & Paypal.

2. You can donate to our Endowment Fund at the Commumity Foundation for San Benito County.

3. You donate passively by making the Friends your preferred organization on Amazon.com, and every time you purchase something a percentage will be donated to the Friends.
