The Friends of the San Benito County Free Library would like to thank the members of the community who came together and made the Tea & Treasures annual fundraiser a huge success.

On Sunday, March 19, the Friends held its annual fundraiser at San Juan Oaks with a whopping 150 participants. Some members of the Friends report that this is the best attended fundraiser yet. Attendees enjoyed good company, raffles, drawings, country store items and a silent auction.

Thanks to your generosity and support, the Friends raised $4,500. These funds will be used to expand our library’s book collection, digital resources, and to support a variety of literacy activities to benefit our community.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Friends and/or the new Future Library Group, please contact the Friends at through their website: www.sbcfriends.org, private message them on Facebook: @sbcfriends or give them a call 831-205-1373.
