Alice “Alicia” Santos Ramos passed away at the age of 64, in Salinas, California, on February 12, 2023. She was born on July 11, 1958, in San Jose, California to Ernesto and Soledad Ramos.
Alice was raised in San Jose, California. She moved to Hollister in the late seventies where she raised three daughters, Monica, Serena, and Candace.
She met her boyfriend, Craig Rutz, in 1999 and remained best friends and partners until the end.
She spent many years as a caregiver, taking care of others, making a difference in the lives of the people she cared for and their loved ones.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto and Soledad Ramos, her brother Joe Henry Gonzalez, and her granddaughter, Belen. She is survived by her sister Margarita (Max) Galindo, brother Richard Ramos, sister Loretta Ruiz, sister Lupe Rivas (Bernard), her daughters Monica Ledesma, Serena Ledesma, and Candace (Joe) Esquivel, and 6 grandchildren, Alejandro, Mateo, Alina, Elias, Javier, and Julianna, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Celebration of life to be held on March 18, 2023, at 11 am at the Chapel of Flowers 900 S 2nd Street, San Jose, CA 95112. Reception from 3 PM to 6 PM at Three Flames Restaurant 1547 Meridian Ave., San Jose, CA 95125.
