July 4, 1946 – February 21, 2026

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, the family of Isaias Ortega Pérez announces his peaceful passing on February 21, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by those he loved most.

Isaias was born on July 4, 1946, to Gustavo and Rosalía Pérez in El Charco, Chihuahua. He was a man of integrity, strength, dignity, and honor—a man of deep faith, a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a cherished great-grandfather.

He married the love of his life, Eva Flores Pérez, just 15 days after meeting her, and together they shared over 56 years of marriage. Their union was a true testimony of resilience, faith, and unconditional love.

Isaias is survived by his beloved wife, Eva, and their three children:
Roger Pérez (wife Monica),
Rebecca Pérez Espinoza (husband Lalo),
Gustavo Pérez (wife Marisol).

He leaves behind 13 cherished grandchildren: Mateo, Diego, Helena, Omar, Saul, Miguel, Eduardo, Isaias, Maritza, Evalina, Andrew, Josiah, and Nathan; two beloved great-grandchildren, Zulay and Zion; and seven godchildren: Linda, Carla, Ofelia, Celeste, Andy, Paulina, Vanessa and Christian.

Isaias was deeply loved by many and was lovingly known as “Grandpa” to countless others he welcomed with open arms and treated as his own.

He is also survived by his siblings: Enrique, Ruben, Jorge, Juan, Lily, Victor, Chalia, Rene, and Javier.

He was preceded in death and welcomed in heaven by his brothers and sisters: Chuma, Gilbert, Ramon, Arturo, Esperanza, and Emma.

Those who knew Isaias knew a man who welcomed everyone into his home with amor y cariño, humility, and respect. He taught his children the value of hard work, family, faith in God, and the honor of carrying the Pérez name. To his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he modeled what it truly means to live a life of honor, dignity, and respect.
