Margie Valderrama Canalas passed away in her home in Hollister, CA, at the age of 91. She was born in Laredo, TX, and lived in Hollister CA, since 1972. She loved gardening, her flowers, singing, traveling, her cats and spending time with her family. She married her husband Jose in 1970 in Mexico.
She is survived by her children Sally Mariscal (Alfredo Mariscal) of Arizona, Virginia Ramirez of Hollister, Maritza Canales of Los Angeles, Leonard Ramirez (Charlesa Ramirez) of Iowa, Corine Arevalo (Edward Arevalo) of Hollister, Monica Duarte of Hollister.
Survived by her Brothers and Sisters Rosie Martinez of Hollister, Emma Robles of Los Banos, Connie Aguilar of Turlock, Domingo Valderrama of Texas, Robert Valderrama of Morgan Hill, Herman Valderrama of Hollister. Her 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Refugio Jaramillo Valderrama, Benita Alonzo Valderrama, Steve Ramirez (Son), Gerardo Canales (Step Son), Sisters Carmen Morales, Mary Balderrama Godinez. Brothers Al Balderrama, Rudy Balderrama, John Balderrama, Daniel Valderrama, Ruben Ponz, David Valderrama.
Services will be held at Black Cooper Sander funeral home on October 17, 2026 at 11am, Cremation and private family interment to follow.
