It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Naty Ferrer, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones at home.
Naty was born on May 17, 1943, in Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines, to Victoriano and Josefa Casanova. In 1976, she and her husband, Rudy, immigrated to the United States to begin a new life and build a future for their family.
Naty was a caring and generous person who always thought of others before herself. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcome in her home and would always make sure that no one left hungry. To Naty, feeding and caring for others was one of the ways she showed her love.
She could be stubborn at times—a quality that her family knew all too well and one that was on full display during her final days. She fought hard and held on with remarkable strength until her very last breath.
Naty loved to garden and took great joy in watching her vegetables and fruits grow, always looking forward to what she could bring from her garden into the kitchen. Her garden, much like her home, was a place where she nurtured, cared for, and provided for those she loved.
She is survived by her three children, Dinah, Armi, and Maynard; her three grandchildren, Joshua, Kaira, and Aidan; her siblings, Gil, Venus, Ester, and Charito; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Naty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudy; her parents, Victoriano and Josefa; and her siblings, David, Benito, Mitos, and Bayani.
Naty’s love, strength, generosity, and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created, the love she shared, and the lessons she taught will continue to live on through her family for generations to come.
A visitation and rosary will be held at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Family Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
A Mass will be held at Saint Benedict Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Father Rudy officiating. Inurnment will follow at church.
A reception will be held at Mad Pursuit Brewing Company in Hollister on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.
