Robert Barrientos

Passed Away On: August 8, 2021

Robert Anthony Barrientos, “Rabbit” passed away in San Jose, California at the age of 41 years on August 8t, 2021. The impact and influence that Robert had on those around him will live on for generations. He loved to laugh and smile while knowing that there was a time to be serious also. Robert loved to be there for people when they were going through hard times, he truly had a heart for service.

Robert was born in Hollister in 1979 to John Barrientos Sr. of Mission, Texas and Annette Alvarez of Hollister, California. He is survived by the mother of his daughters Monica Topete, their two daughters Nayeli Elexia Barrientos and Annabelle Barrientos, and his grandson Adrian Isaiah Nieto, all of Hollister, California. He is survived by his brother John Barrientos Jr and his niece and nephew, Jayla and John Barrientos III. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mother Annette Alvarez, Father Juan Barrientos Sr, Grandmother Guadalupe Barrientos of San Juan, Texas, Grandfather Cipriano Barrientos Sr of Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico, Grandfather Daniel Alvarez of Hollister, Aunt Maria DeRosa of Valley Springs, CA, Aunt Graciela Gutierrez of Batesville, Arkansas, Uncle Jessie Barrientos of Hollister, and Cousin Jose Luis Gonzalez “JR” of Hollister.

Robert attended Gavilan college and subsequently worked in construction for over 20 years. He was a proud member of the Carpenter’s Union #405 and was a builder of the highest degree. He was recently working as a foreman for Rick Slater Construction in San Jose, alifornia. During his career, he had the honor of working on the Golden State Warriors Chase Center in San Francisco. He was a faithful San Francisco 49ers fan. Robert will be missed but will always be in our hearts.
