Sylvia Roman

Sylvia was born June 6, 1970 in Hollister, California to Gabino and Hortencia Flores, she was the youngest of seven where she grew up on fairview.

Sylvia often spoke of her favorite memory where she loved to play in the orchards, she would ride her bike through the trees and wait for her father to come home. She was an amazing individual with an energy that lit up any room she walked into.

Sylvia never had any daughters of her own so as a girly girl she loved sharing her knowledge of hair and make-up with her nieces. Sylvia was much more than a hair and makeup girl. She was a lover, fighter, friend, sister and everyone’s favorite tia that her nieces and nephews knew they could confide in. Sylvia was most importantly a fierce mother who loved and devoted her life to her children.

Sylvia passed away peacefully December 13, 2022 in Salinas, California surrounded by her three boys, her twins Adam and Adrian Barba and her youngest Anthony Roman. With heavy hearts she will be incredibly missed and forever loved.
