Passed Away On: May 19, 2023
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Fu, children, Yau Wai Fu, Susana Tapia, Ellen Fu, and George Fu. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Hunter, Andy, Brenda, Nickolas, Morgan, Jordan, Diona, and Ryan.
Our loving father and grandfather was a best friend to his lifetime soulmate, Lucy for over 56 years. He came to Hollister in 1988 and started the very well-loved Chinese restaurant, Cheung Sheng, also known as the red dragon by the community.
His passion in life was loving and providing for his family and giving back to society. He has helped build roads, establish schools for the rural areas of underdeveloped countryside in Henan, China. The Cheung Sheng Scholarship Foundation for the graduating class of San Benito High School will be established in his honor. He will be forever cherished in our hearts and memories.
His final resting place is at Skyline Memorial Park, San Mateo, California. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May, 24, 2023 at noon and is open to close friends and family by invitation.
