The 2015 Living Now Book Awards results are in and local author Charisse Tyson’s name is on the list. Born Again in a Biker Bar took the bronze medal in the Inspirational Memoir – Female category.

The book is a memoir about Tyson's battle with co-dependency and her husband’s alcoholism and subsequent sobriety. It takes place in Hollister’s Johnny's Bar & Grill, which the couple has owned since January 1996.

Recognizing the year's best books for better living, the Jenkins Group launched the Living Now Book Awards in 2008. The awards are designed to honor the year’s best books that help readers attain healthier, more fulfilling, and productive lives.
