A mixed age range of people, elementary school, high school and adults of all ages, including Hollister Mayor Ignacio Velazquez, assembled to hear an evening of jazz presented by the Marine Corps Jazz Band in a program hosted by Mr. O's Academy of the Arts.
During the day the jazz quintet gave performances to enthusiastic school groups. Some of the young musicians brought their instruments to the evening performance to have them signed by members of the Marine Jazz Quintet.
