Just under 700 people gathered for the 35th annual Mission 10 run is San Juan Bautista on Jan 27.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Hollister the all-ages event featured a USA Track and Field Half Marathon that ran through the Anzar Hills and past the Anzar Lake. There were also races for all fitness levels and age groups, including the 10 Miler, a 5k and a One-mile Kids Fun Run. All the races began in front of Mission San Juan Bautista. Â
The Mission 10 also featured live music by local Hollister band Racing Time, treats from local vendor Ohana Shave Ice, a pre-run yoga warm-up and colorful themed teams that were eligible for trophies.Â
All proceeds from the event will benefit local charities including 12 Days of Giving, Girls Inc., Small Steps, Footsteps 2 Brilliance, and the United Way “Stuff the Bus” program as well as scholarships for high school students.Â
