A super-soldier, two master assassins, a genius billionaire with a metal heart, an enormous green rage monster, and a Norse god all team up to form the Avengers team and fight evil. In this sequel to The Avengers,  the team suits up once again, however, this threat isn’t extraterrestrial-it is homegrown.

In an ill-fated attempt to create a perfect robot that would protect people, Tony Stark uses technology he is unfamiliar with to create Ultron. Ultron is the perfect robot obsessed with the extinction of both The Avengers and humanity.

The Avengers must band together with some unlikely allies such as the Maximoff twins, Wanda and Pietro. They must overcome the odds and face this super-intelligent being with an army of robots hell-bent on destroying them. In doing so, they are faced with some nearly impossible choices. Along the way they encounter new romances, unforeseen deaths, and the return of some old allies.

“I really liked it,” said freshman Corina Garcia. “However, I was disappointed by some of the deaths. I thought they could have done more with the characters.

Sophomore William Yang said, “I thought it was really good. But it was kind of long and I didn’t understand some parts”.

Indeed, some parts would have been quite confusing to patrons that have not read the comic book series. The movie showed The Infinity Stones, six stones that have been heavily featured and hinted at throughout all the Marvel films. The movie only gives a brief description that leaves most people frantically looking it up online after the movie.

“I was sort of sad they didn’t have an after after-credit scene like they did in the first movie,” critiques junior Monica Ocampo.

Yes, some people were disappointed, but overall, the movie has gotten astounding reviews and is the second-largest grossing film ever in the U.S.
