The National Weather Service announced it issued a wind advisory that will take effect March 29 at 11 a.m. until 5 a.m. on March 30.
According to the advisory, it expects sustained winds of 35-39 MPH in areas below 900 feet and/or gusts of 45-57 MPH. It adds gusts can be between 45-69 MPH in areas of 900-2,500 feet.
The wind advisory is for areas that include San Benito County, Santa Lucia Mountains, Los Padres National Forest and Interior Monterey County.
According to the advisory, some potential impacts include downed trees and branches, isolated power outages and difficulty operating high profile vehicles.
