On Wednesday, April 19, participating nonprofits gathered at the Community Foundation for San Benito County to learn more about San Benito GIVES, an online fundraising platform. The event is a team fundraiser, established through Razoo, where all 23 participating nonprofits are listed. Each nonprofit is responsible for raising and receiving funds through their own individual pages online.
The challenge for nonprofits is to increase existing donor contributions and obtain new donors by boosting the level of awareness and engagement in San Benito County. The event, happening on Tuesday, May 16, is a great way to connect donors to charitable causes they care about most and to encourage them to invest in our community.
The Community Foundation shares a common interest with San Benito County residents in having the highest quality of life possible for families and children in the community. Whether we work here, own a business here, live here, or raise a family here, we’re proud to call this community our home. We stand together and make a difference where we live. Through the partnership of BenitoLink and Mission Village Voice, San Benito GIVES aims to increase the awareness of the event by helping readers connect to their favorite nonprofits.
