Northbound US 101 Lane #1 (the far-left lane) will be CLOSED on the night of Monday, May 11, between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, while crews perform overnight concrete work on the retaining wall.

What to expect:

  • Reduced lanes and possible delays
  • Construction equipment and crews working close to traffic
  • Use caution and follow posted signage

Ongoing Construction Activities (May 5–15):

  • Drivers may see crews working throughout the corridor, including:
  • Bridge construction for the new connector ramps
  • Retaining wall construction near US 101
  • Drainage and utility installation
  • Roadway grading and base work
  • There are no on/off ramp closures or detours scheduled between May 5 and 15. 
  • Most work will occur during daytime hours, with occasional nighttime operations.

Travel Tips:

  • Allow extra travel time, especially at night
  • Slow down in work zones
  • Be alert for lane shifts and construction crews
  • Consider alternate routes if traveling during nighttime work hours
