Northbound US 101 Lane #1 (the far-left lane) will be CLOSED on the night of Monday, May 11, between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, while crews perform overnight concrete work on the retaining wall.
What to expect:
- Reduced lanes and possible delays
- Construction equipment and crews working close to traffic
- Use caution and follow posted signage
Ongoing Construction Activities (May 5–15):
- Drivers may see crews working throughout the corridor, including:
- Bridge construction for the new connector ramps
- Retaining wall construction near US 101
- Drainage and utility installation
- Roadway grading and base work
- There are no on/off ramp closures or detours scheduled between May 5 and 15.Â
- Most work will occur during daytime hours, with occasional nighttime operations.
Travel Tips:
- Allow extra travel time, especially at night
- Slow down in work zones
- Be alert for lane shifts and construction crews
- Consider alternate routes if traveling during nighttime work hours
