Notice for Continuum of Care application process

Monterey County and San Benito County's Continuum of Care application process is open for the 2018 Notification of Funding Availability through the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued its notice of funding availability for Fiscal Year 2018 Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Programs on June 20, 2018.

The funds will pay for development, rehabilitation or leasing of housing, and for supportive services for programs serving the homeless.

The Monterey County and San Benito County Continuum of Care Leadership Council and Collaborative Applicant, the Coalition of Homeless Services Providers, announced formation of a Continuum of Care Working Group that will assist project applicants over the next several weeks in response to the Homeless Assistance portion of the notice of funding availability.

NOTE: All local 2018 HUD Continuum of Care Project Applications are due by July 31, 2018. A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be conducted at 10 a.m. on July 11, 2018 at 220 12th Street in Marina for all interested applicants. The deadline for the submittal of the Collaborative Application, Project Applications, and Project Priority Listing is September 18, 2018.
