On behalf of the entire San Benito High School District, we would like to thank the Board of Supervisors for the collaborative partnership that will result in the completion of the bypass road behind our school and the closure of Nash Road through campus.
We appreciate the effort your board and other county officials have made visiting the high school, touring the campus, evaluating the proposal and holding substantive discussions about the safety benefits associated with it.
Your thorough consideration and support of the projects will not only ensure the safety of our current students, faculty, staff and campus visitors, but will guarantee safe passage across campus for generations to come.
We are thankful to the county for allocating staff and financial resources to the bypass and the road closure projects and showcasing how agencies can work together for the betterment of a community. We look forward to future collaboration with the county, enhancing our partnership to ensure that our community is safe.
