A collaborative effort between Schipper Design and San Benito County Parks and Recreation Commissioners and Champions resulted in the creative design of a dynamic logo to represent parks and recreation in the County. This logo captures the vision, goals, and identity of parks and recreation and San Benito County, representing healthy lifestyles, freedom to play/explore in vast open space and 262 days of sunshine, and a sense of community pride and partnership for a vital community. The logo graphically captures the beautiful mountains, sunshine, agriculture/green open space, community, and a burst of energy, representing the many facets of parks and recreation in San Benito County.
So, head out to your local city or County park for a picnic, learn California history at San Juan Bautista State Historical Park, ride your motorcycle or hike at Hollister Hills State Recreational Vehicle Park, bird watch at the Pinnacles National Park, and celebrate the great outdoors in San Benito County!
