Pets ready for adoption

After owner's passing, Bobby the dog is ready for love.

Looking for a pet to love? Two local animals are ready to find loving families.

Meet Bobby! He’s estimated to be two years in age. He is genuinely friendly and happy, and likes people, kids included. He’s good on a leash and potty trained.

Bobby came from the home of an older woman who had seven other dogs in addition to him, and after she died they all ended up at Animal Control. That’s where Bobby met Susan Carpenter, assistant secretary of the Pet Friends Board of Directors and chairperson for the Canine Committee. She evaluated Bobby and selected him as a prime candidate for adoption.

If you’re more of a cat person, then look no further.

Say hello to Eeyore! He is an adventurous little kitten looking for a forever home.
