Pinnacles Community School and Pinnacles Court School held their graduations this week, with nine students graduating from the 12th grade and two from eighth grade.
Anne Marie Faria, lead instructor, presided over the event, while San Benito County Superintendent of Schools Krystal Lomanto and Patricia Ward, president of the Board of Education, presented messages to the graduates.
San Benito County Supervisor Jaime DeLaCruz and Hollister Mayor Ignacio Velasquez were the commencement speakers. Six current, graduating or former students also offered remarks to the graduates and the many family members, friends and other school officials and community supporters in attendance.
Robert Freiri, president of the Hollister Rotary Club presented a scholarship to graduating student Robert Villagomez. Refreshments were served after the ceremony on a sunny morning on Southside Road.
